I took these touching photos of my friends Dave and Lindsey with their week old baby girl Zoe. We shot them in their own home using mostly natural light (in their sun room) and one heat lamp. I also used was my black backdrop and a bench for them to sit on. At first we set up in their living room, but the lighting wasn't bright enough. So we took it down and set up in their sun room. I would have set up in their sun room first, but the temperature was cooler in there for the baby. It turned out, Zoe was just fine in her Mama's and Papa's arms in that room.
When shooting little babies, you never know what will happen during a shoot. Little Zoe was a gem.

There is something so heavenly about babies. No words can describe what your feeling when you hold your little ones in your arms. You feel so many emotions. I hope I was able to capture the pure love Dave and Lindsey has for their sweet Zoe.

This weekend I photographed a family at Lake Harriet. The weather was great! This is the perfect time of year to have a family portrait if you want a stunning floral backdrop.

I sent this picture to this family, and this is what they said, "You are truly a talented wonderful being and also blessed to have you a part of my life!! Thank you!!!"

I wanted to surprise my sister and her husband with some photos of their beautiful kids on Valentines day. Believe it or not, I took these pictures in 10 min. We shot indoors with a black garbage bag as a backdrop. With little ones you need to act fast if you want smiles. It was fun. My sister and her husband love them.
